Hui Meeting
Unfortunately, there have been many victims of the Hui run through Van’s Fashion Shop on Illawarra Rd, Marrickville. The collapse of this scheme has caused much distress to families in the Vietnamese community.
For this reason, I have organised a public meeting for people who lost money through the scheme.
The meeting, which will be attended by myself, the Member for Marrickville, Carmel Tebbutt, and representatives from Marrickville Police, will be an opportunity for members of the Vietnamese community to raise any questions with the appropriate authorities, and for the Police to update the community on their ongoing investigations.
