Media Statement

Today, Noah Carroll has advised the National Executive of his intention to step down as National Secretary.
I have been speaking with Noah in recent days regarding the transition arrangements in the best interests of the Labor Party.
Noah moved to Canberra to take up the role of National Secretary in 2016 after having led Daniel Andrews’ State Labor Campaign to a historic victory in 2014.
Throughout his tenure as National Secretary, Noah led the organisational wing of the Labor Party with integrity and absolute commitment.
Under Noah’s skilful direction, Labor won by-elections in Batman, Braddon, Fremantle, Longman and Perth.
Noah will leave the position with the thanks and respect of everyone in our movement.
I personally wish Noah and his family all the best for the future and I want to thank him for his diligent service.
He is a person who always acted with integrity and absolute commitment to the cause of Labor.
He leaves this position with the thanks and respect of everyone in our movement.
