2021 Commonwealth Bank Teaching Awards
Commonwealth Bank is partnering with national charity Australian Schools Plus for the 2021 Commonwealth Bank Teaching Awards. The awards celebrate inspiring educators and the real difference they make to students’ learning outcomes, with a focus on those who are working in disadvantaged school communities.
Twelve outstanding teachers and school leaders will be selected. These will be educators who have delivered transformative and measurable outcomes, for their students and wider communities. Each recipient receives a $45,000 Teaching Fellowship, which includes $10,000 to support their professional development, $25,000 for a school project to improve outcomes for their students, and a visit to a high-performing education system.
To nominate a teacher or school leader in your community, visit teachingawards.com.au. Nominations are open from 14 September – 16 October.
