2020 Public School Arts Festival

I was delighted to again launch The Public School Arts Festival 2020 as the Federal Member for Grayndler.

I was pleased to be asked by Addi Road’s Program Manager Mina to create a video to support this terrific annual event.  Held at Addi Road in collaboration with the Inner City Teacher’s Association, school teachers, and volunteers, the event this year is a little different due to the COVID restrictions, so I supported this great local event via video message rather than attending a traditional opening.

The theme this year is Stronger Together.  In a year of bushfires, pandemic and recession, the focus is on community and support.

Congratulations to the twelve schools that participated. I was surrounded by terrific pieces of artwork and again it showcased the creativity and talent of our kids – local and beyond.

Toto was asked to join me, and she never misses an opportunity to come along.
