Fraser Park Football Club To Receive $2 Million Facelift

Football fans in Sydney's inner west can look forward to watching A-grade football in style with Fraser Park Football Club set to receive a $2 million redevelopment.

Federal Member for Grayndler Anthony Albanese welcomed the announcement of this redevelopment.
"This is a fantastic day for Fraser Park and its many members," Mr Albanese said.
"Fraser Park FC has been around since the early sixties and while the club has developed and grown over the years, unfortunately its facilities have not.
This funding will see a new grandstand built, along with player change rooms, support rooms and improved lighting.
"A proud Portuguese Club, football is a huge part of their community and it's wonderful that the Federal Labor Government can support its growth and development," Mr Albanese said.
"Today's announcement is the result of years of hard work by the Fraser Park FC Committee, under its President Antonio Cerqueira and its many volunteers."
Mr Albanese said there are more kids participating in sport in the Inner West than ever before.
"That's why it's important we invest in the upgrade of facilities such as Fraser Park, Hammond Park, Henson Park, Leichhardt Oval and Mackey Park."
