Grayndler Forum On Climate Change
I look forward to hosting this event at the Canterbury Hurlstone Park RSL, where I will be joined by Mark Butler MP, Shadow Minister for Environment, Climate Change and Water and Amanda McKenzie, CEO of the Climate Council.
Climate change is an issue many people in the Inner West are passionate about.
I am frequently contacted by local residents who are keen to discuss the importance of ensuring our governments take action on climate change.
This comes at a time where the Federal Liberal Government is winding back the clock on climate change action.
Tony Abbott has scrapped the price on carbon, is slinking away from our Renewable Energy Targets and has put legislation to the Parliament that would see the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) abolished.
I will continue to stand up for action on climate change.
