Insiders Adjournment Debate

ANTHONY ALBANESE, MEMBER FOR GRAYNDLER, NSW (ALP):

Can everybody see me? I know you can, Richard Alston, because you are watching on a luxury plasma digital TV set worth at least $10,000.

While other Australians have to save up to pay for their TV sets, Telstra delivered yours to your home free of charge - just so you could see how good the best of the best is.

Ever heard the phrase 'conflict of interest'? How about 'snout in the trough'? Come on Richard, do the right thing, just this once. Get up off the couch, click the remote off, pull the plug out, ring Telstra, and just send it back.

I'm Anthony Albanese.
