It's Time: Local Students To Enter National Speech Competition

The federal member for Grayndler Anthony Albanese has today called on local high school students to enter the My First Speech competition by held through the Australian Parliament House.
“I want to encourage students to submit entries to the My First Speech competition” Mr Albanese said.
“This competition provides a platform for young people to learn how to speak out about the causes they are passionate about. I would love to see young people from every school enter this exciting new competition.”
To enter the My First Speech competition students in years 10 – 12 must write and record a three minute speech on a topic of their choosing.
Entries are now open and close on June 16 2011. Entry and information forms are attached.
