Calling Our Grayndler Teachers

Thank you to all the teachers in Grayndler working hard during this lockdown.

Volunteers in Grayndler called our local teachers last night, to say thank you for all their work during the lockdowns.

It was one of the most rewarding evenings we’ve had. Teachers are an incredible bunch of people, and a lot of what they do is invisible. This was just one way to shine a little light on them.

Thank you for your call, it means a lot.

- text from one of the teachers after a volunteer got off the phone with them.

A shout out to all the volunteers putting smiles on teachers' faces, and a big thank you to all the teachers, you well and truly deserve those smiles.

If you’re interested in volunteering on my local campaign or participating in this sort of local outreach, please fill in the form below or contact my office at (02) 9564 3588 or grayndler@gmail.com.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which our offices stand and we pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We acknowledge the sorrow of the Stolen Generations and the impacts of colonisation on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We also recognise the resilience, strength and pride of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
