ANTHONY ALBANESE, PRIME MINISTER: Good morning. It is wonderful for me to be back here at St Mary's Cathedral. I went to school here for eight years, from year five through to year 12, and it's an important part of my life. When in year six, the Christian Brothers heard that I was going to have to leave the school because we weren't able to afford school fees. They brought, my Mum came in with me, and in an act of generosity, said, just pay what you can. That is indeed the Christian ethic in practice. And it was wonderful to be back here this morning. I was an altar boy here in the Guild of St Stephen for eight years. So, to be at this service with Jodie was indeed a very important moment for me.
Easter is an important time for Christians to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, an important time in which they reaffirm their faith. For all Australians, though, it's an important time as well, to have the opportunity to spend time with family and friends and loved ones, and I wish everyone a happy Easter. I wish everyone of Christian faith a happy and holy Easter. And for those people who are traveling, this is also a time where we unfortunately see an increase in our road toll. So, I do say to people as well, keep safe on the roads and with the weather conditions that are there as well, I say stay safe in the ocean as well, we know that there's unseasonal activity occurring and I want people to be safe over this Easter. I look forward to spending the next couple of weeks with you as well. Thanks very much.
