Government Misleads On Extinction Legislation

Today in Question time I asked Prime Minister Scott Morrison:

In May the Prime Minister said his Government had "introduced and passed legislation'' to deal with the threat of wildlife extinction, legislation which at the time didn't exist and still doesn't.  Why does the Prime Minister just make stuff up?

Mr Morrison did not answer my question.
In a media conference on 7 May, Mr Morrison said his Government had "introduced and passed'' legislation on wildlife extinction.
Mr Morrison has been caught out misleading Australians. He should be more honest.
