Questions without Notice – Treasurer
14 August 2007
Mr ALBANESE (2.19 p.m.)—My question is addressed to the Prime Minister. Given that today is the Treasurer’s 50th birthday, will the Prime Minister now do the right thing and, after 11 long years, invite the Treasurer and Mrs Costello to dinner at the Lodge tonight?
Mr HOWARD—I am afraid my diary is full for tonight because I am going to the Treasurer’s drinks party.
Mr Albanese—Any night will do, Mr Speaker!
